about

Here is a special offering by Simon C Wright, who has been writing & producing music for over 35 years, he was one of the leading club figures of the 1980s, and, as Shakespeare he was never far away from the action, putting on warehouse party like Ravers of the Lost Ark, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest & the legendary Sunday night Confusion at Bill Stickers.
As a musician, he perfected his stagecraft while playing live tours across the UK and Europe with various bands including CT-London and as the frontman of Jolly Roger with its top 5 songs [Acid Man] a multi-instrumentalist, he plays, drums, rhythm guitar, bass, piano, and harmonica, his musical styles are diverse from upfront dance to easy listening guitar-based pop.
He started as a producer in 1987 and has worked with Akeem Eze, 5Z5, Lenny Dee, Keith Franklin (KCC) to name a few & released a string of acclaimed dance tracks including Vorsprung Technique, This Island Earth, Day trip to Kiwi, and Only the Mad Man Can See, to mention a few.
He continues to write & produce and is constantly trying to push the boundaries of predictability.
He has been working with long time collaborator and close friend Roots on [Dark Stereo] these tracks are a homage to their early musical influences.

A sublime array of tracks that conjure a journey of magical and mystical reverence of past and future as we explore the twists and turns of different worlds. Black Monolith is the opening track with delicate arpeggios and stings, creating a rhymic soundscape and spatial dimension for the traveler.

CERN becomes an electro-mechanical cog turning and rolling in a quirky and funky futuristic musical box.

Chernobyl leaves us in the aftermath of a post-apocalyptic vision a dark future laden with a sense of radioactive waste that somehow transports us through a beautifully atmospheric dreamscape.

Cerebral Forms is a funky representation of dissipated broken-beat arrangements as a series of synaptic charge's pervading space and time in an assault on our senses
